Zack Snyder has taken to social media for the first time since departing the director’s chair of Justice League to share a new image of Batman’s costume in the film.
Snyder, who previously directed Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, departed the Justice League movie in the wake of a family tragedy. In his place, Avengers director Joss Whedon has stepped in to handle the re-shoot and post-production process of the massive DC Films project.
Snyder shared the photo below on his Vero account.
In Justice League, Batman will be portrayed once again by Ben Affleck, before he goes on to play the role in the Matt Reeves directed standalone film. This is the first new image from the film which has surfaced in a considerable amount of time and arrives just in time for San Diego Comic Con. Most signs point to the next trailer for the film calling from the geek culture event in July, seeing as it is the next major event for Warner Brothers with no blockbuster films on their release schedule ahead of it.
