Last season on Game Of Thrones, Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) finally came into her own as a powerful force to be reckoned with. Many even compared her intrinsic strength and rise to power to her late mother Catelyn Stark.

She (and fans of the show) got their last laugh when Ramsey Bolton got his face eaten off by his own attack dog army, after the Starks took back their home of Winterfell.

In a recent interview with EW, Sophie Turner said that most of her story in the upcoming season revolves around her recent rise to power and her influence over the North, “She’s seemingly in control for the first time – and it really suits her,” Turner says. “She’s kind of having a bit of a power trip. But she’s also becoming more insecure, because there are threats to the power that she holds.”

We are expecting to see House Stark rise again in Season 7 now that the three living children have reunited and the truth about Jon Snow’s true parentage was revealed. Even if he doesn’t want the Iron Throne, he still has a right to it.

Either way, he was still crowned King Of The North.

Sophie Turner went on to explain what excites her most in Season 7, “What overall excites me about this season is that main characters are coming together and it feels like things are ramping up. It’s really exciting and all feels like it’s coming to a big conclusion.”

The one word fans don’t want to hear is “conclusion,” but at the same time Season 7 is expected to another great entry into the Game Of Thrones epic saga. With the probability of House Stark rising to power, maybe this season will hold more happy endings.

Game of Thrones Season 7 is currently filming and will premiere on HBO in summer 2017.
